The WEEX broker program is designed for professional partners that provide trading products or services through API integration. Once approved, brokers receive a unique Broker ID that can be included in API orders. WEEX calculates broker commissions based on each user's referral relationship and the Broker ID attached to the order, then credits them accordingly.
1. Who can join?
The program is open to partners that can integrate with WEEX via API and provide trading services to users, including but not limited to:
- Trading platforms and terminals
- Quantitative trading and strategy platforms
- Trading bot providers
- Social trading platforms
- Other professional trading service providers
If you offer an innovative trading product or service and meet the API integration requirements, feel free to contact the WEEX team to discuss potential cooperation.

2. Broker support and commission coverage
WEEX brokers can access the following support and commission benefits:
- API integration and technical support
- A unique Broker ID for order attribution and tracking
- Direct commission from users acquired through your own channels and users without an existing referral relationship
- Indirect commission when users from other referral channels trade through your broker service
- Broker commission rates based on your broker tier, with the same rate applying to both spot and futures trading
Current program terms
The WEEX broker program is currently in its initial launch phase. At this stage, there are no fixed trading volume, user count, or other performance requirements for upgrading or maintaining a broker tier. Broker tiers and commission rates may be reviewed and adjusted over time based on the partnership, business development, and system configuration. The applicable broker tier, commission rate, and scope will be subject to the latest WEEX rules, system records, and the terms agreed upon by both parties.
3. How to become a WEEX broker
- Create a WEEX account and apply to become a WEEX affiliate.
- Submit the required broker application information. The WEEX team will review your application and complete the broker setup.
- Once approved, you will receive your unique Broker ID.
- Follow the WEEX API integration requirements and include your Broker ID in order requests. Once testing is completed and the integration goes live, eligible trades will be included in broker commission calculations.
4. WEEX broker commission rules
WEEX broker commissions are divided into direct commissions and indirect commissions. The applicable commission type is determined by the user's existing referral relationship and whether the trade is correctly attributed to the broker through a valid Broker ID. API trades from a broker's sub-affiliates and their direct invitees will continue to follow the existing affiliate API commission rules.
User source | Bronze | Silver | Gold | How it works |
Users directly referred by the broker | 50% | 60% | 70% | The user signs up through the broker's exclusive referral link. |
No inviter | The user's existing referral relationship remains unchanged. The original inviter or channel continues to receive its existing commission.
Users referred through another broker or affiliate | 8% | 11% | 15%
Referred by a non-affiliate user
Sub-affiliates of the broker and their direct invitees | Not applicable | Existing affiliate API commission rules apply. These trades do not qualify for direct or indirect broker commissions.
- Direct commission applies to users directly referred by the broker, as well as users with no inviter.
- Indirect commission applies when a user already has an existing referral relationship but trades through the broker's product, tool, strategy, or API service. The user's original referral relationship remains unchanged, and the original inviter or channel continues to receive the applicable commission.
- API trades generated by a broker's sub-affiliates and their direct invitees do not qualify for direct or indirect broker commissions. These trades will continue to follow the existing affiliate API commission rules.
- The same broker commission rates apply to both spot and futures trading.
5. Broker ID requirements
A valid Broker ID is required to identify orders placed through the broker's API service and calculate the applicable commission.
When submitting orders through the API, brokers must include their unique Broker ID in accordance with the WEEX API integration requirements. Orders with a missing, incorrect, or improperly configured Broker ID will not qualify for the corresponding direct or indirect broker commission.
For field specifications, API endpoints, and testing requirements, refer to the latest WEEX API documentation and technical integration guidelines.
6. How is the broker program different from the standard affiliate program?
Category | Standard affiliate | WEEX broker |
Primary model | Invite users to sign up and trade | Serve users through trading platforms, tools, strategies, or API-based services |
Trading integration | No Broker ID required | API orders must include a valid Broker ID |
Users from your own channel | Earn commissions under the standard affiliate rules | Earn direct commissions based on your broker tier |
Users from other channels or direct WEEX users | Not applicable | Eligible trades may earn direct/indirect commissions |
Sub-affiliates and their direct invitees | Standard affiliate commission rules apply | Standard affiliate commission rules apply |
7. Additional terms
- Broker commissions apply only to trades that meet the WEEX broker program rules and API integration requirements.
- The same broker commission rates apply to both spot and futures trading.
- Broker tiers, commission rates, settlement schedules, and any other applicable terms are subject to the latest WEEX rules, system records, and the terms agreed by both parties.
- During the program's initial launch phase, WEEX does not currently impose standardized performance thresholds for upgrading or maintaining a broker tier.
- WEEX may review or adjust broker eligibility, tiers, commission rules, and program coverage based on the partnership, business development, risk management, and applicable requirements.
