Algorand Foundation Announces Return to US Market and Formation of New Board
BlockBeats News, January 18th, the Algorand Foundation announced that it will relocate its United States headquarters to Delaware and appoint a new board of directors to advance the foundation's operations in the U.S. and its strategic expansion into the next phase. The new board will focus on driving related plans in global payments, asset tokenization, and other directions. Board members include: Bill Barhydt, Founder and CEO of Abra (Chairman), Alex Holmes, Executive Vice Chairman of United Texas Bank Dallas and former CEO of MoneyGram, Michael Mosier, former Acting Director of the U.S. Treasury Department's FinCEN, Rebecca Rettig, Chief Legal Officer of Jito Labs, and Staci Warden, CEO of the Algorand Foundation.
