「Copycat Air Force Front」 is shorting PUMP, MET, and other currencies to short the Solana ecosystem, with the current position size exceeding $5 million
BlockBeats News, January 6th, according to Coinbob Popular Address Monitor, the "Meme Coin Shorting Whale" has recently been intensifying its shorting activities against Solana ecosystem tokens. The address continued to add to its PUMP short position today and opened a new short position for MET (Solana ecosystem project Meteora). It currently holds a 10x leveraged PUMP short with a size of approximately $4.01 million and an average price of $0.00238; a 3x leveraged MET short with a size of approximately $300,000 and an average price of $0.31. At the time of writing, the address is still increasing its short positions for the two tokens.
In addition, the address has also been shorting Meme coins on the Solana blockchain, including recently surging tokens like PEPE and Fartcoin, with a total short position size of around $1.2 million.
Furthermore, according to Coinbob's monitoring, despite the continuous rise in LIT price from last night to this morning, the "Meme Coin Shorting Whale" counter-trend added to its LIT short position. The current LIT holding size has reached $14.2 million, with an average price of $2.70, unrealized losses of $1.74 million, making it the largest short position in LIT on the Hyperliquid platform.
Since November, the address has held short positions for over 20 meme coins, with the total holding size expanding from around $20 million to the current $46.7 million. The recent overall market uptrend has narrowed its total unrealized gains by approximately $3 million, although it still maintains a small profit. Its total accumulated profit for the year has reached $80 million.
