Drone Attacks 'We Are Ukraine' Channel Building, Five Injured
On September 8, a Russian drone attacked the building of the 'We Are Ukraine' telethon channel during a live broadcast. Five people are reported injured. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the strike drone hit the channel's building in the middle of the workday. The building is partially destroyed, and emergency services are on site; the fire has already been extinguished. The number of injured may increase. Zelensky emphasized that the attack on media represents a new chapter in Russian degradation and requires a response from Europe and the world. He stressed that no strike against Ukraine should go unpunished. This is not the first attack on Ukrainian media; as a result of a massive attack on Kyiv on August 20, the premises of the 'We Are Ukraine' and 'We Are Ukraine+' channels were also damaged.
