FTX Creditor Representative: Next Round of Fund Distribution Expected to Take Place on March 31
BlockBeats News, February 1st, FTX creditor representative Sunil posted on X platform stating that the next round of fund distribution by FTX is expected to take place on March 31st. Currently, the total amount of reconciled claims is approximately 9.6 billion USD, with around 7.8 billion USD for claims under 50,000 USD, around 78 billion USD for claims over 50,000 USD, and around 1 billion USD for non-client claims.
Sunil also pointed out that the size of the disputed reserve fund has decreased by approximately 2.2 billion USD. If a further approximately 2 billion USD is distributed later, it is expected that the category of claims over 50,000 USD may receive an additional approximately 1.7 billion USD in compensation. Overall, the FTX creditor recovery process continues to advance, and the pace of subsequent distributions still depends on the resolution of disputed claims and asset realization progress.
