Primus Pushes Confidential Finance Product on BNB Smart Chain
Primus Labs, in collaboration with Unitas Labs and United Stables, is launching a confidential finance product called 'Primus Confidential Finance' based on the BNB Smart Chain. This product utilizes Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) to reduce the exposure of institutional fund positions and cash flows during on-chain transfers and calculations. Primus plans to release the FHE-based confidential finance product on the BSC. This product directly supports privacy transfers and encrypted calculations on-chain, allowing institutional funds to utilize on-chain financial functions without disclosing their positions and cash flows. FHE is a cryptographic technology that enables computations to be performed without decrypting the data, which poses a burden for institutional fund management as transaction records and address flows can be tracked externally on public blockchains. Primus's product concept aims to keep transactions on-chain while handling sensitive financial information in an encrypted state. The core of the product is to connect encrypted calculations with on-chain financial functions. Unitas and United Stables are also participating in the development of this product, but the roles of each partner have not been disclosed. This collaboration can be seen as an experiment to combine privacy transfers and encrypted calculations in the on-chain utilization of institutional funds.
