Real Madrid to pay over 100 million euros for Yan Diomande
Real Madrid will finalize a signing exceeding 100 million euros, following three years since they spent 127 million on Jude Bellingham in 2023. The club, led by Florentino Pérez, has adopted an aggressive policy in the current transfer market. Although the official announcement is pending, the signing of Ivorian right winger Yan Diomande has already been agreed upon, with an estimated fee between 100 and 120 million for Leipzig in Germany. Diomande is expected to arrive in the coming hours for a medical examination, sign a contract until 2031, and join José Mourinho's squad, which already includes Denzel Dumfries, Marc Cucurella, Ibrahima Konaté, and Bernardo Silva. The 19-year-old Diomande had a brief stint in Spanish football with Leganés in the first half of 2025 before being transferred to Leipzig for 20 million euros. There, he excelled and was called up for the 2026 World Cup with Ivory Coast, attracting interest from Real Madrid and PSG. Diomande could form an attacking trio alongside Kylian Mbappé and Vinicius, who will join Real Madrid's preseason. Vinicius, currently in talks to renew his contract expiring in June 2027, could negotiate with another club starting in January. Arsenal is willing to tempt Vinicius with a record contract of 400,000 pounds per week.
