Robinhood Chain Launches Prop Trading with Funded Protocol
Funded Protocol has begun providing decentralized prop trading infrastructure on Robinhood Chain. Robinhood Chain has expanded its experimental scope into the realm of trading capital management. A structure has been introduced where users can deposit capital and share profits generated from prop trading. Funded Protocol aims to transition this structure through contracts between on-chain liquidity providers and traders, changing the capital provision entity of traditional prop firms to liquidity providers on the platform and distributing trading performance based on smart contracts. Robinhood announced the launch of the Robinhood Chain public mainnet in its official newsroom on July 1, describing the chain as an Ethereum Layer 2 based on Arbitrum. Robinhood Chain features a 100ms block time and ETH gas tokens, and it has established an ecosystem for trading, profit, and lending applications. Network ID 4663 and testnet 46630 have also been released. Robinhood Chain has surpassed Ethereum in daily NFT trading volume, and its initial spread demonstrates a structure where financial infrastructure and speculative trading demand move together. Robinhood allows users to manage assets according to smart contract and third-party protocol rules, while the profitability and sustainability of Funded Protocol may vary.
