Survey: 16% of investors in Brazil have allocated to cryptocurrency, and 56% of non-investors intend to enter the market
According to Livecoins, a survey jointly released by Mercado Bitcoin and Opinion Box shows that cryptocurrency has entered the investment portfolios of 16% of investors in Brazil, while another 56% of respondents who have never invested in crypto assets expressed intentions to enter the market in the future.
The survey states that digital assets are more often seen as tools for diversifying asset allocation rather than as replacements for traditional investments. Meanwhile, 61% of Brazilian respondents believe that a drop in Bitcoin is a buying opportunity, with this percentage rising to 79% among investors who already hold crypto assets. However, the market's popularity still faces obstacles, with 62% of respondents indicating difficulty in understanding the specialized terminology of the crypto field, 76% believing the market is too complex, and 55% considering regulatory oversight of platforms as the primary factor in choosing a crypto asset investment platform.
