Tether to Achieve Around $15 Billion Profit in 2025
BlockBeats News, January 27th, according to Fortune report, Tether is expected to achieve a profit of about $15 billion by 2025, and the scale of U.S. Treasury bonds held by Tether has exceeded that of major economies such as South Korea, while also being heavily invested in Bitcoin and gold.
According to the data agency CoinMarketCap, as of early January, USDT's market cap has reached $187 billion, and its daily trading volume has also surpassed the sum of all competitor stablecoins — even though in the United States, with few exceptions, U.S. citizens are not allowed to use Tether's stablecoin. Today, what Tether is trying to disrupt is no longer just the financial sector. Over the past two years, it has made large-scale investments in areas such as satellites, data centers, agriculture, telecommunications, and media.
