Vitalik mentioned switching to Fileverse encrypted documents and Signal/Simplex/Session messaging apps last year (all decentralized open-source apps) and planning to further transition to OpenStreetMap/Protonmail and decentralized social networking in 2026 to protect location and communication privacy.
