Zhao Changpeng and He Yi, co-founders of Binance, used the character aliases 'Homer' and 'Marge' from The Simpsons during a company meeting and internal chats. He Yi continues to use the name 'Marge'. The two met in 2014 at OKCoin, where He Yi recruited Zhao Changpeng as the Chief Technology Officer, and they later co-founded Binance in 2017. This move reflects their influence within the Binance ecosystem. Following the news, related meme tokens quickly emerged.
