SpaceX Aims to Return Humans to the Moon by 2028

SpaceX executives revealed during an earnings call that the goal is to achieve human return to the Moon by 2028. Elon Musk stated that Starship needs to demonstrate its high reliability before crewed flights, with safety standards expected to be met by the end of next year. SpaceX President Gwynne Shotwell pointed out that orbital propellant transfer technology is crucial for the HLS project, with the Artemis III mission set to take place next year, where Starship will dock with Orion before conducting an uncrewed cargo mission.
