TOKEN2049: Exclusive Info and Promo Code
The world's largest crypto event returns to Marina Bay Sands on October 7 and 8, 2026. What sets this edition apart: after the Dubai edition was postponed to April 2027, TOKEN2049 Singapore is the only major gathering of the brand this year. This concentrates the entire industry's attention, and likely a wave of announcements, over two days.
In Brief
- TOKEN2049 Singapore will take place on October 7 and 8, 2026, at Marina Bay Sands, across five floors of the convention center.
- The only edition of the year: the Dubai event has been moved to April 2027, focusing all attention on Singapore.
- Organizers expect over 25,000 participants, 7,000 companies, 160 countries, more than 300 speakers, and 500 exhibitors.
- Surrounding the summit: TOKEN2049 Week (October 5-11) and its dozens of parallel events, the NEXUS startup competition, the Origins hackathon, and the AFTER 2049 party on October 9.
Why 2026 Focuses All Attention on Singapore
Typically, TOKEN2049 marks the year in two parts: an edition in Dubai in spring and an edition in Singapore in autumn. The postponement of the Dubai event to April 2027 changes the game. Singapore becomes the only major gathering point for the brand in 2026, making it, in practice, the place where most players will choose to unveil products, fundraising, and partnerships. The 2025 edition was already sold out, so the pressure on tickets is far from theoretical.
The scale, on its part, remains difficult to compare with anything else in the sector. Founded in Hong Kong in 2018, the event moved its flagship to Singapore in 2022 and now occupies all five floors of Marina Bay Sands. The figures cited by the organizer (over 25,000 participants, 160 countries represented) describe less of a conference than a whole week of industry, extended by TOKEN2049 Week and its approximately fifty parallel events scattered throughout the city.
Who Takes the Stage, and What Happens Around
The announced program mixes executives from platforms, funds, and public figures from the crypto world. Among the names mentioned by the organizer (subject to change): Richard Teng, CEO of Binance, Paolo Ardoino, responsible at Tether, Arthur Hayes, co-founder of BitMEX, and Vlad Tenev, who leads Robinhood. The final program and schedules are continuously updated on the official website.
Beyond the keynotes, the format largely spills out of the conference room. NEXUS pits selected startups (500 applications, 10 finalists) against each other on a global stage. Origins, the internal hackathon, offers to go from idea to functional product in 36 hours. And AFTER 2049, the official closing party, takes place on October 9 at Marina Bay Sands SkyPark, 200 meters above the bay. For many, it is these parallel events, more than the conferences, that justify the trip.
A useful note for European readers: some speakers represent platforms with restricted or non-harmonized access within the European Union. Their presence on stage is part of the industry conversation, not a recommendation, and it is up to each individual to verify the eligibility of the mentioned services from their own jurisdiction.
What It Costs, and What the Code Changes
Ticketing operates in tiers, in US dollars, and prices increase as quotas fill up. The very first waves (Super Early Bird) start at a few hundred dollars, the general rate then rises to around $1,299 for the last tier, and the Special Access (VIP) pass, which opens access to lounges, receptions, and priority, is around $4,999. The exact price therefore depends on the current sales phase: it is best to check the displayed price at the time of booking.
One last thought. By becoming the only major TOKEN2049 of the year, the Singapore edition will likely absorb announcements that others might have spread between Dubai and Asia. In other words, what will be said at Marina Bay Sands on October 7 and 8 will weigh a little more heavily than usual in the narrative of the last quarter. The open question is whether this concentration mainly benefits established major players or still leaves room for rising projects. Answers on stage, early October.
